A real schedule around a day job, not a call centre — which is the point. You get a person who turns up when he says he will.

How the remote connection works

On a Windows PC: Quick Assist, which Microsoft already put on your computer. You press one button and read out a six-digit code. Nothing to download, nothing left behind.

On a Mac, or if Quick Assist won't cooperate: a normal Google Meet call. You share your screen and click "allow" to hand over the mouse — and you can take it back instantly.

Either way you grant the access, you watch the whole session, and closing the window cuts the connection the second you do it.

What Phil can't help with
  • Physical repairs — cracked screens, dead drives, bad power supplies
  • Data recovery from a drive that has already failed
  • Anything needing someone physically in the room
  • Business servers, domains or managed IT contracts
  • Recovering accounts he can't verify you own
  • Anything that would mean taking your password
If someone calls you claiming to be Phil, it isn't Phil. He never makes the first contact, and will never ask for your passwords, bank details or gift cards. Every conversation starts from a request you sent through this page.
